its just for trout so any is fine…but the for the price of those that your looking at…i would look else where and get a better one…

Fishing reels have two classifications: the fixed spool reels and the conventional reels. Fixed spool reels are immobile. Fishing open water for schools of bass and whatever other fish is hungry?
I’m using a spincast reel and medium action rod. I’m also using 8lb flurocarbon line. I want to know what bait would be good to use in open water off the bank. I’ll be cast about 50yrds out and there are some docks around. Also the water is meduim stained. Anyway my question is this, what’s a good bait to buy that doesnt need any modification for open water fishing schools of bass? Email me if I left out something and you want to help. I accept constructive criticism.
Your best bet for “bait” would probably be a Shiner or large Fathead minnow for schooly Bass. (And don’t forget- They love Nightcrawlers too!)
If you are really experiencing “Schooling Bass” you may want to try an 1/8-1/4 OZ Rattle Trap, Topwater or 1/4-3/8 OZ Spinnerbait in Shad colors. Casting old Rapala Spoons can be good as well!
